Patch Flowers

My name is Patch Flowers. I get asked about it a lot, if my parents were hippies or If my middle name is “of” but its not and actually my mother was in the military for almost 30 years. In school I used to hate my name it wasn’t until I started to develop as an artist that I realized just how blessed I was to have a name like Patch Flowers.

Originally I went under the Alias of “Delirious Lyricist” because I always thought I had to have a “Rapper name” roughly from 2012 I was in military academy when I started writing and seriously directing my life towards music to somewhere in 2017 when I opened up for an artist by the name of Masta Ace. I was backstage talking with him to network and give him a copy of my first album “Straight Outta Options” He asked my name and I replied “I’m the Delirious Lyricist” he was like ” okay okay but what’s your real name?” As I told him that my actual name was Patch Flowers he said “NOW WHY THE FUCK ARENT YOU USING THAT!?” Until then I had never thought of using my real name.

As I rebranded myself to my true name I started to become more experimental with my sound and started moving away from just introspective rap into soul and indie hip hop. As I released my 2nd album “Picture Perfect” produced by Lab Grade. I started to have a lot more fun with what I was doing with my performance, so I added in a costume. My first version was me as a Giant flower in a full body green suit and pedals around my head. Honestly I loved it, the world is a shitty place and if I can make someone laugh and smile for even just a second I’m gonna do it. After the costume had seen a tour and 62 shows it needed to be retired. Now my costume is a little further from the comedic side and more artistic but I guarantee you will know when im in the building.

I have performed live almost 800 time in my entire career and have had the opportunity to open for so many incredible names such as: Krizz Kaliko, Stevie Stone, Riff Raff, Snoop Dogg, Mike Jones, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Afroman, Nappy Roots, Smo, AFRO, R A tha Rugged man, and so many more I’m so blessed to have the life I live and to be able to make a living off of doing what I love.

In conclusion my life goals are to become a famous artist and get a pirate ship.

While maintaining the rules of always acting in positivity and never being destructive.
